Havent opened 3 yet as 30 points is alot to use when i suck in so many other areas lol It seems like its more late game content which is really nice to see. Teir 2 unlocks either springs and mechanical parts or something exotic like that. Teit 1 unlocks the ingots and steel tool. Vas 6154aīoth are really easy to find once you find the right items to use wrench on. As long as they don't nerf the xp for zombie kills i'm fine with it being 30 skill points as it's only about 6 or so zombie kills per level up. But, you can play 'normally' with just the first unlock. I don't know what those are off-hand though. The other two unlock some recipes for items that you normally cannot ever craft. You can make steel bars and thus steel tools with just the first unlock. I'm pretty sure it's just an unlock, similar to leatherworking.
Is steel smithing supposed to be 30 skill points for each level or is that an oversight? Thats quite a few levels to nail down to open the skill fully.
